NCTV invites Nantucket high school students to be part of an inspiring initiative to create educational public service announcements (PSAs) tackling substance misuse and addiction. Rooted in the confidential and real experiences of Nantucket residents in recovery, this program empowers teens to advocate for prevention, education, and change through the arts.
This program isn't just about learning the risks of addiction—it’s about coming together and connecting through conversation, shared values, and the craft of filmmaking. Through art and advocacy, students will create narratives that not only educate Nantucketers but empower community members to make healthier choices.
Students will work with the filmmaking instructors at NCTV, as well as representatives from the Nantucket Alliance for Substance Abuse Prevention (A.S.A.P.) and Fairwinds Counseling Center.
Are you ready to make a difference? Join us at NCTV this spring break to reshape conversations around addiction and inspire a safer, healthier tomorrow.
Participants will receive 20 hours of community service required to graduate.
