Lisa Getter (Executive Director)  accepted the role of Executive Director for NCTV in 2014. Lisa hails from the UK, and moved to Nantucket in 2001.  Lisa has always had a passion for photography and film— Really, her specialty is capturing Life.   She was a founding partner for Nantucket Event Media that specialized in multimedia services on Nantucket in 2003.

Whilst Lisa can edit like the devil himself, and had produced multiple videos and informercials for her own clients, she is also a successful business woman in budget and finance management for select island businesses.  Email Lisa at lisa@nctv18.org

Arlene O’Reilly (Director of Development & Marketing) Prior to making Nantucket her home, Arlene started her career path as an intern at Data Motion Arts in New York.  She studied and worked with Quantel PaintBox artists and broadcast engineers on accounts such as CBS Sports and MTV.  She continued her professional career as a graphic designer and is certified in Adobe software such as: Photoshop, Premier Pro and After Affects. She loves to be hands on production with editing and special effets and to work with a talented team.   Arlene has a MA in Communication Design specializing in Branding and Journalism through her own business Mind’s Eye Communications based on Nantucket for over 25 years.

Arlene has donated much of her time in assisting NCTV with graphics and promotions! She is our now our Director of Development and Marketing as of January  2019.  Arlene remains  the founding partner and  Creative Director and for a design agency, Mind’s Eye Communications, base on Nantucket for 20+ years.  Arlene has joined NCTV as the Director of Marketing and Development part-time and enjoys teaching communication design classes at NCTV. Email her at arlene@nctv18.org

Rachel Larson Devine (General Manager) joined the team at NCTV18 in March of 2020. Rachel is a multi-generational Nantucket native who brings forth a diverse skill set with a foundation of strong organization, communications, attention to detail, and creative vision. With over two decades of experience with office management, the construction trades, and real estate; Rachel is also a professional photographer, avid writer, and a strong advocate for Domestic Violence education and reform. She has an innate passion for life and an energy that drives her to constantly explore and break down the impossible. Greatly inspired by the arts, elements of nature, and the connection of people; Rachel is a firm believer that we are all influencing each other daily and that what we put out into the world each day truly matters. Frank Schadt (Project Director and Videographer) left freelance film work in August of 2018 to join NCTV18. He began honing his filmmaking, editing, and directing techniques in 8th grade, when his documentary won runner-up for a High School Emmy. From then he never looked back, creating his own short films while attending film school and working on commercial shoots. He works hard to turn ideas into action. Dee White (Filmmaker) grew up in Windsor, Connecticut. Her interests in video production began in high school continued on as she studied cinematography at the University of Hartford. Dee began working at Win-TV, in Windsor, CT, in 2010, starting out as a video editor and moving up to production supervisor & lead editor. She joined the NCTV team in early 2018 as the lead editor, videographer, and VFX/motion graphics artist. She is the lead teacher Whaler Media & Journalism 101 youth programs.

Grace Bartlett (filmmaker) is  a multi-generational Nantucketer who first fell in love with making her own projects at NCTV18’s Teen View Program her freshman year at Nantucket High School. Since then she has gone on to study film and make her own projects at Yale University.

She is an avid learner who loves hearing and developing real life stories for the screen. She is currently finishing her first long-form documentary about her family’s farm here on Nantucket.

Catie O’Connor (administrative assistant) has been coming to Nantucket since she was 16 to work odd jobs and volunteer for the Nantucket Film Festival. After graduating from Florida State University with a BFA in Creative Writing, she relocated to Los Angeles, where she worked as a production coordinator and writer for the live comedy sketch show TMI Hollywood.

She worked as a production coordinator on several short films, including the Nantucket Shorts Festival 2019 winner TIOLI Revolt: We’re Not Going to Take It (Or Leave It). In 2020, Catie returned to the island and soon joined the team at NCTV18 as an administrative assistant. She is also one of the key producers for the station’s newest original program, Nantucket Life.

Samantha Danzinger (Sound Designer) grew up coming to Nantucket and, after graduating from Ithaca College Park School of Communications in 2020, she moved full-time to pursue Audio and Sound Design. She joined NCTV18 in April of 2021 as a Freelance Sound Designer, working specifically in podcasts.

Mark Pommett  (Filmmaker) is a cinematographer, producer, and Nantucket native with one foot in Los Angeles and the other on-island. He is also a teacher at NCTV and has been part of the team since 2015.
